Hope Building entrance

Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust aims to be the safest organisation in the NHS through providing safe, clean and personal care to every patient, every time.

We are an integrated provider of hospital, community and primary care services, including the University Teaching Hospital. Our team of 6,000 staff provide local services to the City of Salford and specialist services to Greater Manchester and beyond.

We have an excellent track record; having the highest consistent rating for service quality coupled with one of the highest sets of patient and staff satisfaction scores.

Our Services and staff have received a number of accolades, honours and awards which are listed here.

If you would like to find out more about the Trust and how it’s performing, you can view our strategic publications, including annual reports and plans.

Patient
Quality Improvement and Patient Safety

We were the first Foundation Trust to publish a Quality Improvement Strategy – with clear ambition to be the safest organisation in the NHS.

We will build this culture of safety by embedding our core values:

  • Patient and customer focus
  • Continuous improvement
  • Respect
  • Accountability

One of the core values we look for in all employees is that they are supportive of continuous quality improvement.

You can read more about our Quality Improvement and Patient Safety work here.
