The Gastroenterology Department has 9 NHS/Academic Consultant colleagues and 3 Specialist Registrars and a multidisciplinary support team consists of 2 Specialist IBD nurses, 1 Cancer Nurse Specialist and 2 Alcohol Specialist Nurses.
The Clinical Directorate prides itself on the delivery of high quality multidisciplinary care, and the busy outpatient department is supported by inpatient specialty beds with dedicated ward staff.
