The Health Visiting Service promotes healthier lifestyles, physical, psychological and social well being, for families with young children under the age of five who are registered with Salford General Practitioners.
It provides a preventative service to address inequalities of health as a core principle. It offers a universal service with additional interventions on targeted areas in particular to safeguarding and children in need.
