The Department of Immunology provides a sub-regional service for hospitals and practitioners within Salford and Trafford districts and for other hospitals within the North-West Region. It is fully accredited by CPA (UK) Ltd.
The department also provides a clinical service, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of Primary immunodeficiencies. The nursing staff give care and support to the patients who require immunoglobulin replacement therapy.
