Patient organisations

Patients have always played a valuable role within the provision of kidney care. 

Throughout the reconfiguration of services in Greater Manchester (Greater Manchester Renal Project 1999-2001) and thereafter within the Kidney Care Network (KCN), patient representatives have continued to be involved. 

Patient representatives sit on the KCN Board and others are involved in clinical governance groups and haemodialysis satellite unit planning groups.
