The Urology Centre at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust offers a full range of urological assessment and treatment. We aim to provide the highest achievable standards of care for example within pelvic cancer surgery; we have proven published outcomes which are of an international standard.
The centre currently has the lowest wait period within the NHS for urology outpatients and, for the convenience of patients, an innovative new ‘one-stop’ outpatient process has been implemented in order to reduce the number of required hospital visits.
The centre is recognised as having one of the top urological clinical and basic research programmes in Europe and has strong academic links to Manchester University and the Christie Hospital.
