Building for the future
We are investing £200 million to greatly improve the facilities and environment for patients, visitors and staff at Salford Royal. This will enable us to continue to improve our services and help us be the hospital where you want to be treated. The redevelopment programme will be complete in 2012.
The new hospital layout has been designed with you in mind; from the welcoming entrance on Eccles Old Road, to easier access and a clearer layout for patients and visitors to find their way around.
The Mayo Building – housing state-of-the-art education facilities – and the staff multi-storey car park are now complete, and we recently opened the Hope Building at the end of August 2011.
