It is the aim of the Trust to provide a Recruitment & Selection Service which is committed to increasing the service quality and efficiency of the Trust by attracting and recruiting the people who are best suited to meet the standards for the job.
It is also the aim of the Trust that all those involved in the interviewing and selection of applicants have received appropriate training and are “licensed” to recruit and are knowledgeable in Recruitment & Selection and Equal Opportunities.
We aim to have services that are open and non-discriminatory and have a workforce which reflects the diversity of the patients we serve. As we believe our patients should have equal access to care, our staff should also have equal opportunities in the workplace.
We seek to be an equal opportunities employer and all individuals, regardless of race, nationality, gender or disability are encouraged to apply for all posts for which they are suitable.
The Recruitment Office is a busy department in the Trust, but ensures a high standard of recruitment administration is maintained, that recruitment checks to ensure that the requirements of “safe recruitment” are met and that appropriate documentation is completed for each new employee including progressing and issuing the statement of particulars (contracts) and relevant information provided to Payroll. We are committed to the continued development of the service, staff development and the concept of team working.
Here you will be able to access all our job vacancies and find out about employee benefits. We have also listed some information about volunteering at the Trust, NHS careers and work experience opportunities for those of you who are not at the point of applying for a job just yet.
