This year Salford is holding its first ever Youth Day.
Youth Day is to celebrate the positive contributions young people make to our city.
Youth Day 2012 will be held on 30 October for young people aged 13-19. Salford’s Young People’s Council and groups from the city’s youth centres will be arranging activities across the city to celebrate.
Salford Royal has a long history of supporting local young people, hosting work experience and trainee placements. To hear what our own young people think about Youth Day, see the videos below:
