How it's managed - Twitter Policy

We manage our corporate Twitter account during standard business hours Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.  Our followers can expect between 2-10 tweets a week, although this may increase in special circumstances, such as updates from events.    Occasionally our Twitter account will be updated out of hours.  There may be times when Twitter is unavailable and we accept no responsibility for lack of service due to Twitter downtime.

We welcome feedback and ideas from all our followers, and endeavour to engage where possible. However, we may be unable to reply individually to messages we receive via Twitter.  We read all @replies and Direct Messages and ensure that any emerging themes or helpful suggestions are passed to relevant people in the programme.

 

Unfortunately, we are unable to respond to media enquiries or Freedom of Information (FoI) requests through Twitter, nor can we offer medical advice to individuals in any capacity

 

If you follow @SalfordRoyalNHS we will not automatically follow you back. This is to discourage the use of direct messaging, avoid resource wasting spam handling and so that you can easily identify other key Twitter users that we think are relevant and who we follow.
