Divisional Managing Director of Clinical Support Services and Tertiary Medicine

 

Stephanie was appointed Divisional Managing Director in May 2010 prior to which she was a Senior Operational Manager for the Medicine Division gaining experience in Dermatology, Rhuematology, Gastroenterology  and Renal Services.


She qualified in 1982 as a registered nurse and for the next 18 years worked in the emergency department at North Manchester General Hospital undertaking a variety of roles including clinical nurse specialist and latterly Clinical Manager.  


Stephanie’s general management experience began in 2000 within the Surgical Division at North Manchester and following the formation of Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust she became the Service Manager for Unscheduled Care, working across four hospital sites. 


She completed a MSC in Management Studies in 2003.


 
Janelle Holmes

Janelle Holmes

Divisional Managing Director of Salford Health Care

 

Janelle Holmes was appointed in March 2008 as Director of Operations for Medicine.  Prior to taking up this role, Janelle was Senior Manager for Emergency Medicine including Cardiology, Respiratory, Diabetes & Endocrinology.

 

Janelle has worked in the NHS since qualifying as a Registered General Nurse in 1991.  During her nursing career she has worked in a variety of medical specialties and also as the Trust Resuscitation Training Officer, finally settling in the Emergency Assessment Unit as Ward Manager in 1999. 

 

In 2001 she set up a Medical High Dependency Unit, introducing Non Invasive Ventilation to the Trust.  In 2002, following a spell as ‘Modern Matron’ she moved to a Service Development role on the SHIFT project, becoming an Operational Manager in 2004.


Jacqui O'Reilly
Jacqui O'Reilly

Divisional Managing Director of Surgery

 

Jacqui was appointed Director of Surgery in April 2011 following vertical integration from Salford Community Health where she was Director of Operations and Quality.

 

She qualified as a Registered General Nurse in 1984 and has worked as a Staff Nurse at The Christie and Manchester Royal Infirmary, as a Midwife on the Delivery Unit at St Mary’s Hospital and as a Health Visitor and Team Manager for Manchester Primary Care Trust.

 

Following completion of a Master of Public Health and PGCE, she has lectured in Public Health and Specialist Community Nursing at Manchester Metropolitan University.

 

Her other clinical and management posts have included working for NHS Oldham as a Community Consultant Nurse, Associate Director Community Provider Services and Associate Director Quality Commissioning  for the Christie and Pennine Acute Hospital Trust Contracts.


Sue Toal

Divisional Managing Director of Neurosciences and Renal Services

 

In March 2011 Sue took over as Managing Director for the newly formed Division of Neurosciences and Renal Services. 

 

Prior to that she had been the Associate Director of Operations for Theatres and Anaesthesia, Critical Care and Surgery in June 2007 and more latterly included Neurosciences.  Sue was first appointed at Salford Royal as Assistant Director of Nursing for Theatre services and later became the Deputy General Manager for the Division of General Surgery, Theatres and Anaesthesia and Neurosciences.

 

Sue first joined the Trust in April 2002 from Pennine Acute Trust where she had been Directorate Nurse Manager in Surgery and Theatres.

 

Sue’s nursing career prior to that has been varied and includes Practice Development, Ward Sister in Urology and Head and Neck Surgery, Staff Nurse in Neurology and Surgery and Nurse Auxiliary in General Medicine.
