Give your views and help shape the future of your healthcare

With the Healthier Together public consultation now underway, local residents are invited to get involved in the country’s largest transformation to healthcare by talking to leading clinicians and sharing their views at Listening Events.

You will hear how health and care might look in future with better access to GP and primary care,  better and more joined-up care in the community and at home, and how our hospitals need to change.

Listening Events are taking place throughout Greater Manchester in July, August and September at local community venues, church halls, civic centres, education centres, town halls and park halls.

Salford’s Listening Events takes place 6pm-9pm, Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at Buile Hill Park Hall, Buile Hill Park, Eccles Old Road, Salford, M68 GLA.

Coming to a Listening Event is a perfect chance for people to participate and speak up about how healthcare should be delivered in their area.

Dr Chris Brookes, Medical Director of Healthier Together and also A&E Consultant at Salford Royal, said: “Our vision is to deliver the best health and care in the country for our population in Greater Manchester. We all want the best care for ourselves and our families. In some places, people already receive the best possible care available. In others, the care does not meet the standards we expect.”
