Ian Moston and Jack Sharp join Salford Royal's Board of Directors

Ian Moston and Jack Sharp have now taken up their positions on Salford Royal’s Board of Directors; Ian as the new Director of Finance and Jack as the new Director of Service Strategy and Development.

 

Ian is new to the Trust, joining Salford Royal from the NHS Trust Development Authority, whereas Jack is a more familiar face, having worked at the Trust since 2008.

 

Ian started his career in the NHS in 1991 and has held Finance Director positions in primary care, acute and intermediate tier organisations since 2005.  At Salford Royal, Ian’s responsibilities comprise Finance, Information, Procurement, Contracting and Commissioning and he will provide Executive support to the Division of Neurosciences and Renal Services.

 

Jack came to the NHS as a graduate management trainee and since then has held a wide range of general management posts. He has worked in Salford since 2003 and came to Salford Royal from the organisation formerly known as NHS Salford. He has led on the development of a number of large scale change programmes, including the transfer and integration of community services within Salford Royal.

Jack is the Executive Lead for Strategic Service and Operational Planning, Integrated Care, Cancer Services, Estates and Facilities, and will provide Executive support to the Division of Clinical Support Services and Tertiary Medicine. 

 

Salford Royal’s Chief Executive Sir David Dalton said: “It is a pleasure to welcome Ian and Jack to the Board of Directors. Both Ian and Jack have had long careers within the NHS and have some fantastic achievements under their belts.
