Health visitors work with families across Salford

Celebrate National Health Visitor Week with us

Throughout next week (21-25 August), we’re pleased to highlight the important work our Health Visitors do for families across Salford.

Our Health Visiting Service promotes healthier lifestyles, physical, psychological and social wellbeing, for families with young children under the age of five who are registered with Salford GPs.

The team provides a preventative service to address inequalities of health, offering additional interventions and support in areas such as safeguarding and children in need.

Within all the community healthcare venues below there will be information stands about the work the team does, and Health Visitors will also be on hand to showcasing the valuable work that they and their teams do, and will be available to answer any questions from the general public about the service.
