Car park barrier - patients carpark

Parking on site

Salford Royal has three on-site car parks – Central, North and East Car Park - offering nearly 1,000 spaces for patients and visitors.


Whilst Central and North are operated on a token and barrier system, East Car Park (under the management of Salford City Council) is a pay and display car park. 


Patients and visitors are advised to park in the car park nearest to the part of the hospital they are going to. Please see below for further details on this.


Salford Royal offers over 120 spaces for Blue Badge (disabled) holders across the three car parks.

Please do not visit ward or patient areas if you have:

  • Signs or symptoms of flu
  • Had diarrhoea and/or vomiting in the last two days


 Please help us keep free from infection.


North Car Park (accessed near to the Stott Lane/Eccles Old Road junction)

  • Urology Outpatients           

  • Renal Outpatients

  • Renal Dialysis


  • A&E

  • Day Case Unit

  • Patients attending Clinical Sciences Building.


Central Car Park (accessed from Eccles Old Road)

  • Diabetes

  • Elderly Care

  • Radiology 2

  • Weight Management and Endocrinology

  • Haematology

  • The Christie chemotherapy

  • Gynaecology

  • Maternity

  • Dermatology Dressings

  • Surgical Admissions Lounge (SAL)

  • All visitors visiting patients on wards


East Car Park (existing Stott Lane car park, accessed from Stott Lane)

  • Visitors to Mayo Building

  • All other Outpatients Clinics and diagnostic services not mentioned in the lists above.


Patients visiting The Christie at Salford Royal will access the designated car park via Central Car Park
